This trio of song interpretations are from three records that were very important to me while I was in the hospital for heart surgery in late summer of of 2021. I focused myself by constantly listening to a trio of local (Winnipeg) records. Touching's Isolation Blues, Royal Canoe's Sidelining and Mariachi Ghost's Puro Dolor. I'd wanted to do a track for each of these earlier but I had to wait until I was ready to do it. It took a bit and there were many tears shed while working on the vocals for these. Even now, over 2 years later, these records still affect me emotionally. Thus, these three songs, from these three records, are still as important to me now as they were when I was in the hospital.
